Closing his bedroom door, Connor grinned in delight. Everything really was working out for him. He picked up his phone and noticed Hawk had texted him back. "Aiden told on you? Uh oh, how bad is it..." Hawks message read. Connor giggled to himself. An hour ago it was bad, now he felt like he got away with the crime of the century. Aiden told their Dad about the wedgies and their Dad just didn't seem to mind. He was worried about getting in trouble for the livestream but Aiden was so pathetic, Connor was barely worried about that even. He thought back to seeing Aiden crying on his bed, in his little underpants, Connor knew he had nothing to worry about any more from his older brother. Connor picked up his phone replying "I actually think its OK!" and then proceeded to relay the story of everything that had happened since the livestream. However, the story does technically take place in the same universe though more for my own enjoyment than any actual plot reasons. Among the affluent families in my country, it is a common practice to spend a year abroad after completing high school and before commencing university. Embracing this tradition, I eagerly embarked on the journey. The opportunity presented itself in the form of a year in the United States, where I could immerse myself in the 12th grade. Again, as I had already completed it at home, but now I could enhance my English language skills and accumulate novel experiences. Contrary to expectations, my destination wasn't the bustling metropolises of New York or Los Angeles. Rather, through a partnership between my secondary school and one in a small town in the Midwest, specifically in South Dakota, I found myself headed to the less glamorous locale of Myderville. Though admittedly lacking the allure of more renowned cities, the prospect of living in the U.S. was inherently fascinating and promised to be a unique and enriching experience.
